Then on a beautiful sunny April morning, I saw my sister running back home, she said she had something to share with the whole family, I knew it was going to be big news, I could tell just by looking at her face. Believe it or not I can still remember to this day the exact words she said to us, “you’re all going to be able to go to school and fulfill your dreams”.

That was the very first day that I ever heard anything about school grants. I was absolutely shocked to learn that the American government would be giving out free money, and you didn’t even need to pay any of it back. Another great part is that you can apply for more than one grant, you’re able to apply as much as you want, as long as your intentions are honest.

That’s how I was able to go to college and fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher! All of my brothers and sisters also have a higher education. My mom is able to stay home and never have to worry about anything again.

It can be very difficult raising a family even when you’re able to afford all the comforts of life, this is especially true when you have a job that doesn’t pay as much as you like and leaves you feeling unsatisfied at the end of the day.
