I can still clearly remember the day that I got my first school grants. It’s a day in my life that I will certainly never be able to forget. Did you know that there an absolute ton of totally free school grants that can make your life significantly easier?

My family has a whopping seven members! Excluding my two parents that leaves five children, because we have such a large family my parents decided to homeschool us for several years. My two brothers ended up joining the Army, but the rest of us studied as hard as we could at home. You’ll probably agree with me when I say it’s not an easy task to educate that many kids, especially considering the fact that we had a quite low income. Ever since I was little I’ve had an insatiable desire to learn. Back when I was a little kid I knew when I grew up I wanted to be a teacher. I used to think about all the different subjects I could teach and how much fun it would be!

After I turned 11 my father passed away, and everything in my families life seemed to come grinding to a stop. We didn’t have very much money left, and the money we did have soon started to dry up. My older sister took up a job at a café nearby and did her best to help provide us with everything we need.

Then on a beautiful sunny April morning, I saw my sister running back home, she said she had something to share with the whole family, I knew it was going to be big news, I could tell just by looking at her face. Believe it or not I can still remember to this day the exact words she said to us, “you’re all going to be able to go to school and fulfill your dreams”.

That was the very first day that I ever heard anything about school grants. I was absolutely shocked to learn that the American government would be giving out free money, and you didn’t even need to pay any of it back. Another great part is that you can apply for more than one grant, you’re able to apply as much as you want, as long as your intentions are honest.

That’s how I was able to go to college and fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher! All of my brothers and sisters also have a higher education. My mom is able to stay home and never have to worry about anything again.

It can be very difficult raising a family even when you’re able to afford all the comforts of life, this is especially true when you have a job that doesn’t pay as much as you like and leaves you feeling unsatisfied at the end of the day. Take some time to ponder these questions I’m going to put to you, and if you find yourself answering yes to any of them, then you might want to think about trying to get school grants in order to improve your education and get a better paying career.

1) Your checks are already out the window before you even get your hands on it.
2) You almost never have the money to be able to see a movie or go out to eat, and you’re never able to take a vacation.
3) When your kid’s birthday rolls around you find yourself having to make excuses about why you can’t get them the gift they want.
4) You haven’t been able to get new clothes for a period of time longer than you might like to admit.
5) If anything in your car or house breaks you wouldn’t know how you’d be able to pay to fix or replace it.

If you found yourself answering any of these questions in the affirmative then I’m sure you already know it’s time for you to find a way to make more money. The easiest and fastest way to do that is to go back to school, learn or improve your already valuable job skills and do your best to find a high paying career.

You might be saying to yourself that you can’t afford it or you simply just don’t have enough time. But if you want to have a better life for your family you are going to have to make the time yourself, because the only time you’ll ever have is the time you make, life isn’t going to get any easier. And as for how you’re going to be able to afford college, there are actually many ways, with the most attractive option being the various school grants that are available.

Many of these grants are based on the financial need of the applicant, while some others are based mostly on merit. And in some cases, even better yet there are even specialized grants available for particular areas of study like if you’re entering a healthcare profession, or if you’re thinking about becoming a teacher. In addition to that there are many different special interest and nonprofit groups that give out money as well for people who want to go back to school.

Let me tell you, you don’t want to be looking back at your life 10 years from now wishing that you took the steps needed to to give you and your family a better life, so take charge and start working towards a better life today.
